Foley Hoag

The goal for the artwork was to integrate the views from the expansive windows covering one side of the reception lobby high above the Seaport with their views of blue sky. The art installation by Tacita Dean, comprising 11 individual works and entitled "Magic Hour," brings the blue sky in the windows to the other side of the lobby, creating the sense of daylight and sky all around. The marble sculpture by Richard Erdman evokes the feeling of flight and the seagulls floating outside the conference center’s windows above the harbor waters.
